Production FAQ

I have a song and want to be able to record it profesionally… Can You help me?

Well it sounds like you need some guidance on the recording side of things. We offer just that in the form of Music Production. The music producer’s job is to take a demo or idea to a fully finished recording. The artist’s job is to perform and write the best music they can. With a producer handling the “capturing” side of music recording, the artist is free to explore their own abilities without restraint.

In certain genre’s such as hip hop, a “Producer” is known simply as the music creator…. The style of production offered at Pattern is more in the classic definition of “Music Producer”.

Some examples of classic producers that shaped music history are Sir George Martin, Quincy Jones, and Rik Ruben to name a few. Learn more about the ins and outs of what we do by visiting the studio for a free consultation. PatternRecordingStudio@Gmail.com.

What is a music producer?

A producer opens up and brings out the artists or bands potential. It’s the producer’s resposibility to make sure everything goes well and according to plan in the studio.

As previously stated… Some genres refer to music producers simply as the “beat maker”… This is different than what is offered at Pattern Recording. We will involve the artists as much as possible in the entire creation of the project to ensure the artistic vision is met.

In the music industry, a professional music producer serves the same role as a director in a film. It is the music producer’s job to make sure that in the end the finished product is as best it can be.

Working with a professional producer leads to an exponentially greater recording than what would have been done alone.

Are producers also engineers?

They can be. In today’s music scene most producers are. Here at pattern we pride ourselves in our engineering abilities.

Can I hire your producers for a project at a different studio?

Yes! Please send us an email at PatternRecordingStudio@Gmail.com with your information and we will provide a free consultation.
