Recording FAQ

How do you record a song at the studio?

We first start with a free consultation. Our goal is to understand what you are wanting to achieve and then create a plan to accomplish these goals.

Once that is established we go into what is called “Pre-Production” (which is the first stage of the recording process). This is when we go over song demos, rehearse, and figure out what equipment, style, and approach to take on the song(s).

Once Pre-Production is complete, the next step is to record. We then use the time we spent in Pre-Production to guide the recording process and record everything that is needed.

Do you have any recording bundle deals?

Yes! Contact us at PatternRecordingStudio@Gmail.com for more information.

When do we load in our gear for our session?

Load in and setup times may vary but usually the gear will be asked to be loaded in the night before the session if a full day is booked. This is so we’re able to mic and set everything up. We can also adjust accordingly.

How can I get musicians to play on my recordings?

Pattern Recording’s staff is well versed in many instruments as well as genres. We are happy to play on your recordings through some of our music production packages with no cost added However, if you need us to call other session musicians or specialists, we can also do that.
